About Us

Once Removed supports the development of writers of color and encourages an audience for underrepresented voices in literature. We are a literary arts organization funded by its members as well as organizations and businesses who believe in supporting writers of color and connecting the Diaspora through story. We serve as a resource for writers, publishers, booksellers, educators, librarians and readers.
